Nite News 12/30/01 The 2002 Nite National Championship Regatta is scheduled for January 26-27, 2002. A maximum of 8 races will be sailed. Regatta entry fee is $10. Location will be announced at a later date. Check this web site or the PIYC hot line at 262-367-1656. Dues are $10.00 and payable now. Please send your dues to the secretary with the information below. Sending in dues will keep you on our mailing list. email address and cell phone number to the secretary: Technical Committee Report The final draft of the clarification of class rules, Section E Mast, Number 6: Fiberglass may be added to repair a damaged mast section. Fiberglass may also be used to straighten a mast, the maximum allowable being one layer of 10 oz. fiberglass, applied to one side only. The class rules state that the fuselage will be one of polyester reinforced glass fiber laminations. The fuselage will be produced by class approved builders only and is not subject to structural modification by the owner. It is the fleet's wish and the Technical Committee's responsibility to maintain a strict one design nature of the Nite Iceboat.
